Your In Depth Consultation

After you have talked with your consultant and completed the Confidential Questionnaire, the next step in the FranChoice process is for your consultant to arrange a personal consultation with you.  During this consultation they will dig deeper in learning the business characteristics that are important to you, the role you plan to play in the business and your motivations for franchise ownership.

We will ask many detailed questions to determine the business characteristics that match best with you. Questions like:

  • What are your reasons for wanting a business of your own?
  • Have you ever owned a business of your own?
  • What hours do you like to work?
  • Where do you want your business to be located?
  • How do you feel about managing people?
  • How much capital are you willing to invest to start your new business?
  • Will you have partners?
  • Do you want to build multiple units?
  • How soon do you want your business to open?
  • Will you be involved on a full-time or part-time basis?

These are just a few of the many vital issues we'll discuss with you. Your answers to these detailed questions will then form the basis for selecting the best fit in franchise opportunities.  The consultation process is fun and exciting and most people tell us they learn a lot about themselves too!

We’ll then take all of this information and create a personalized model you will use in evaluating franchise opportunities. The model will identify the attributes you feel are important as well as the characteristics of your ideal business.    It will summarize your ideal scenario for things like:

  • Number of employees you wish to manage
  • Types of employees you wish to manage
  • Hours you wish to work in your business
  • Leadership role you envision yourself playing within your new organization
  • Type of sales role you will play

The model serves as a valuable tool to use in determining and evaluating the best match for you.

From here, your consultant will get to work analyzing our impressive inventory of franchise companies to see which franchise opportunities fit your model.
