For the last 25 years Pete Tucker has been applying his extensive knowledge and experience to help national franchise companies grow and new franchise owners find their dream opportunities.

In 1988 Pete joined the founding franchise group for Blockbuster Entertainment after spending 13 years in the full service restaurant industry. Pete’s group grew their 6 state franchise operation to 220 locations, being reacquired by the franchisor after just 3 years. Upon the acquisition Pete joined the senior management team in various roles at Blockbuster Entertainment. As Senior VP of Operations, he was integral to the company’s growth to over 4000 locations.

Eventually Pete re-joined his Blockbuster partners as they formed the start-up team at Einstein Bros. Bagels. Pete became the CEO and President of their West Coast Franchise Group. His franchise group grew to 126 locations in 4 years, leading to a successful IPO of the parent group.

Since the early 2000’s Pete has been involved in franchise ownership in 5 different industries and has developed a successful franchise coaching practice. He has worked with industry and brand leaders in financial services, online commerce, food service, retail, and legal services in developing training, operational and franchise support. He is widely acknowledged in the franchise industry as an innovator and has been recognized with many awards.

Now, he uses his knowledge and experience to teach candidates how to understand the ingredients of a successful franchise model and its appropriateness to their goals. Many of his candidates have commented that having an experienced guide through the process has been a real game changer.
