Jordon Olson

Jordon Olson is a Canadian-born extroverted people person who goes out of his way to help, basically, anybody. He loves meeting and learning people’s life paths and goals.

Early in his professional career, he went to college to become a journeyman in construction, working in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Through the University of British Columbia, he became a licensed real estate agent with Royal Le Page, assisting homeowners to purchase and list their homes.

With very little of his own money, he learned to use “OPM” (other people’s money) to invest in his own real estate investments, acquiring rentals, new construction projects, vacant land, and commercial property.

Jordon met his wife in Las Vegas while she was there on a work trip for a franchise convention. Six weeks later the couple married.

They moved from Canada to Bellingham, WA where the two of them could raise their family. He continued to work as a realtor with REMAX in the Bellingham area and focused even more on building a real estate portfolio for the family. During their time in Bellingham, Jordon fixed and flipped houses in the Seattle area, and built and researched teams across the U.S. to invest remotely in rental houses.

In 2012 the family moved to Texas. Jordon continued working side-by-side with his wife as she continued to work in the franchising industry.

Jordon also continued to grow their real estate portfolio owning more fix and flip projects, acquiring rental property, renting luxury lakeside Air BNBs, and commercial property.

The most rewarding moments were purchasing homes from distressed homeowners facing foreclosure and assisted them out of a difficult situation.

One of the highlights of Jordon’s real estate investing career was being a partner at the inception of a Real Estate Investment Fund. His responsibilities ranged from raising capital to managing projects and investor relations.

Jordon gave up the opportunity as a fund partner to spend time with his family, managing their real estate portfolio, assisting his wife in franchising, and managing his young son’s motocross career.

Today, Jordon has redirected his full-time efforts and is dedicated to assisting people searching for a new franchise opportunity. Using the same skills and assets he used for 26 years in real estate, he is now a full-time consultant with FranChoice, providing a free consultation service to people looking for a franchise that best meets their needs.

Today, he resides in a small town with his family in Dripping Springs, TX.

He can be reached at 512-202-9623 and jolson@franchoice.com.
