Gene Chayevsky

With over 30 years of experience as an investment banker, private equity executive, corporate CEO and board member, entrepreneur, investor, and financial advisor, Gene Chayevsky understands the weight of consequential, life-altering decisions like transitioning from a corporate career into business ownership.  Having personally made the jump from the corporate world into franchising as his favorite form of business ownership, Gene now helps his aspiring business owner clients find and evaluate optimal franchise opportunities. Gene’s expertise in franchising has been honed through his role as owner and CEO of KLW Fitness LLC, a multi-unit franchisee of BODY20, the fastest growing fitness concept in the US.  Prior to entering the world of franchise ownership and consulting, Gene was an industry recognized global business builder across multiple industries, managed businesses in 17 countries, becoming a relatively young Delta Million Miler, and achieved a $167 million exit of an Atlanta based gaming company, leading the business as Chairman and CEO to a 32% EBITDA CAGR during his tenure as CEO.

As Managing Partner of US and Latin American operations of a specialist lower middle market private equity firm, Gene led $60 million in investments in companies in the region and served as CEO and board member with many of these companies.

Gene started his career as an investment banker in Morgan Stanley in the Mergers & Acquisitions department in NY and was a member of the founding team to launch the Firm’s operations in the former Soviet Union.

Chayevsky graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Economics from Columbia University and attended the University of Cambridge in the UK for one year as an undergraduate to study economics. As part of his continuing education, Gene is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (2018) and is member of Section 4, on online platform for elite business education founded by NYU Professor Scott Galloway.

Gene resides in Atlanta and Miami with his wife and 3 kids, with 2 of his older kids in college at Northeastern and TCU, and his younger kid an emerging baseball player, whose games and practices he never misses.
