Frank Caperino

Frank Caperino’s experience in business and multi-unit franchising gives him the expertise to carefully guide entrepreneurs in selecting the correct franchise and business opportunity for them.

Frank’s diverse background has equipped him well with many skills and experiences. Frank spent a large part of his career working for Sperry Univac. During this period he instructed US Naval personnel on the repair and installation of computer systems aboard ships and at U.S. Naval bases around the world. He also started several companies – including a data entry company in Mexico under the Maquiladora Program and a Defense Contractor business in San Diego. He also delved into the franchising world with Cold Stone Creameries, owning eight franchise locations during a period of fifteen years.

Caperino also spent time as a financial planner for Cigna Associates and earned his Certified Financial Planner certification before becoming a faculty member at the University of Phoenix and Colorado Technical University – teaching finance courses.

Frank Caperino received a BSEE degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ and an MBA with Financial Emphasis from National University in San Diego.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and being active in several organizations and associations. He volunteers time with UNICO National – an Italian-American association that provides charitable donations and scholarships to needy individuals – and served as the National President of this organization from 2003 until 2004. He was also one of the founders and President of NIACCF – an association of Cold Stone Creamery franchisees.

Frank is now focused on helping others obtain the freedom and security that he has experienced by owning his own business. With many experiences and opportunities to pull from – Frank is looking forward to helping you find the right fit for you and your lifestyle in the franchising world.

Frank was born and raised in Hoboken, NJ and has lived in many places during his professional working career – including traveling to 34 countries and residing in Naples, Italy and Yokosuka, Japan.
