Connor Groce

Connor Groce realized at an early age that he was not cut out for the 9-5 grind. Early entrepreneurial endeavors into pool cleaning, social media marketing, and more eventually led Connor to partner with experienced franchisees to launch a home services franchise at the age of 20.

While an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Connor led his first franchise to early success including doubling the brand’s previous record for first-year revenue generated through holiday lighting. After 18 months as an owner-operator, Connor hired a manager and continued to oversee the business on a semi-absentee basis.

By this point, he was hooked on franchising and knew it was his path to building wealth while also establishing lifestyle flexibility.

In 2022, Connor relocated to Indiana to purchase two units of another brand in the waste management industry. While focusing on organic growth, Connor also grew his portfolio through multiple successful acquisitions and learned the power that acquisitions can play in long-term value creation.

Franchising has allowed Connor to do things early in his career that would likely not have been possible through traditional employment or independent business ownership. Gratitude towards franchising has instilled in him a passion for helping others use franchising as their path to build wealth, enhance their lifestyles, and ultimately realize their dreams.

Connor is notably passionate about working with candidates who desire to operate a business and eventually transition into semi-absentee ownership, who are acquisition-minded and eventually seek to grow through acquisition, and who want to invest through strategic partnerships with operators, all of which have played a critical role in Connor’s success in franchising.

Connor currently lives in Raleigh, NC with his two Great Danes, Marley and Scout. If he isn’t working on his franchise portfolio or helping others build theirs, you can often find him traveling the world, reading a good book, or cheering on the Tar Heels.
