Chip Crutchfield is a seasoned multi-unit franchise owner who, together with his wife Shea, owned and operated Mosquito Authority and Pest Authority franchises from 2010 until early 2026.

A former Franchise of the Year winner, Franchise Advisory Board member, and Marketing Council President, Chip brings real-world operating experience to every consultation. He lived the complete franchise journey — purchasing his first territory in 2010, adding a second brand in 2017, completing multiple FDD renewals, and successfully exiting through a sale to neighboring operators in early 2026.

Prior to franchising, Chip served as Chief Digital Officer for a regional marketing firm, leading digital teams that served clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

Today, Chip is passionate about guiding aspiring business owners to the right franchise opportunity. When not working, he enjoys college and professional sports, boating, cooking, and serving as a KCBS Certified BBQ Judge. He and Shea live in North Carolina’s Piedmont region with their two adult sons and their West Highland Terriers, Otis and Riggins.
