Andrew Horton has spent the last 21 years becoming an expert on all aspects of franchising. During his career he has worked on every side of the franchising industry, including time spent as a franchise company executive and as a franchisee of two different brands. Currently, in addition to working as a FranChoice consultant, Andrew is a Salons By JC Franchisee in Minnesota working on developing 4 locations throughout the region.
As a franchise owner himself, Andrew is an experienced & knowledgeable resource for anyone determining if franchise ownership is right for them. As an executive with FranChoice and St. Gregory Development Group for the last 21 years, he has thoroughly evaluated over 2,000 different franchise concepts as potential clients for those firms.
Taking a deep dive into that many brands has given Andrew a unique perspective into how to most effectively evaluate a franchise concept. Criteria such as stunning unit economics and a strong infrastructure are something every franchise candidate must require of their potential franchisor partner. However, there are many other factors that are unique to each candidate and that is where Andrew has the most fun…helping candidates identify the criteria that are most important to them and ensuring that the concept they select has everything they’re looking for.
After working closely with the executive teams of the most dynamic and fastest growing franchise brands in the world, Andrew has decided to apply all of that knowledge in an effort to help those brands find the right franchise owners for their systems and to help candidates find the absolute best possible franchise for them. He works from his home in Nashville, TN and when he isn’t helping people find the right franchise there’s a good chance he’s on the lake with friends or crossing another destination off his travel list!
