Bill has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. In 1983 – after having held numerous positions in sales and sales management in the glass industry – Bill made the decision to enter the franchise world and became a franchisee with Great Clips. From 1983 to 2006 Bill developed his salons into an extremely successful organization, employing over 140 people. During this time his organization won virtually every Great Clips award possible. Bill served on the Marketing Council and was President of the Franchisee Coop. Also during this time, Bill spent countless hours talking with potential new franchisees about Great Clips and the franchise business leading many of them to become franchisees. After selling his business in 2006 Bill ventured into the fitness industry – successfully selling those businesses in 2010.
