Founder Jeff Elgin to Return as CEO

Staff Appointments to Support Growth, Success
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. – FranChoice, the premier network of franchise referral consultants in the United States, announced today a series of organizational changes designed to help the company continue its increasing growth and success, including the promotion of Lori Kiser-Block to president.
Kiser-Block, previously vice president of FranChoice, has been with the company since 2003. In her new role as president, Kiser-Block will direct the company’s growth while supporting the consultant development, franchisor relationship and marketing teams at headquarter.
Before joining FranChoice, Kiser-Block spent nearly 20 years in various sales and management positions, including serving as the National Director of Franchise Development for Carlson Wagonlit Travel, owned by the Carlson Companies, owner of Radisson Hotels, TGI Fridays and many other national and global brands.
“This is a very exciting time in the history of FranChoice,” said Kiser-Block. “Our results are exploding, with new production records being the constant for us over the past few months. I am delighted to move into my new position at FranChoice and look forward to our future success.”
In addition to Kiser-Block’s new position, Jeff Elgin, former president and founder of FranChoice, will return to the company officially at CEO effective in January of 2007. Elgin currently is the CEO of Capistar, the holding company for FranChoice. Elgin will serve as founder and advisor to Kiser-Block until the transition into his new role his complete.
