Most properties (homes, condos, townhomes, villas) in resort areas like beaches and ski resorts are individually owned by the over 6.4 million people that own second homes in the U.S.. The majority of these homeowners use the property less than a month each year, so they rent their properties on a short-term basis (by the night or week) in order to produce income. As a vacation rental property manager you’ll provide property rental, management and security services to these home owners (and to their guests).
