PREDECESSORS AND AFFILIATES
To simplify the language in
this offering circular, "IHPS" means In Home Pet Services Inc., the
franchisor. "You" means the person who is buying the franchise. IHPS
is a New York S-corporation that was incorporated on December 22nd, 2004. IHPS
does not do business under another name. The principal address is 38-17 Little
Neck Pkwy. Little Neck, New York 11363. Robyn Lipschutz is the President and
founder of IHPS and there are no other predecessors or affiliates.
IHPS''s agent for service of
process is disclosed in Exhibit A.
IHPS currently covers 21 zip
codes in Northeastern Queens and uses independent contractors to fill
assignments. Over 600 clients are currently serviced by IHPS at this location
IHPS franchises the right to
use the trademarked name In Home Pet Services to walk dogs and care for pets in
their homes when their owners are away or unable to care for them. You will
benefit from IHPS''s unique system for operating franchises featuring this
service. You must uphold the IHPS honor code to never mistreat any pets under
your care or compromise the security of a clients home and belongings. You may
run your IHPS franchise as a one-person operation or use independent
contractors to increase your client load. You can be a sole proprietorship,
partnership or corporation.
Your competitors include pet
boarding facilities/kennels, pet day care centers and other local or national
pet-sitting or dog walking services. Exhibit B attached to this offering
circular and contains a summary of special regulations for dog walkers in California.
IHPS has conducted business in
northeast Queens for 5 years in the same manner as the franchise being offered
in this document. We have been offering franchises since 2005. We have not
offered franchises in any other line of business.
