After operating coed clubs, working as consultants and working in other areas of the fitness industry, Daren Carter, Mike Widener and Charlie Woodward joined forces to create a fitness center just for women. In 1998, Contours Express was founded and they began franchising the system the same year. Now, with more than 500 units around the world, Contours Express continues to grow.

Contours Express gym franchise is a system of women's gyms that uses only weight-bearing equipment specially designed and sized for women. Women follow a 29-minute cue tape that moves them through aerobic stations and strength-training machines. A fitness trainer assists the members during their workouts, providing motivation and other services. Our workout ensures that members of every fitness level can strengthen, shape and tone all their major muscle groups, while improving their cardiovascular health, in only 29-minutes.
