Matt Bogart - Franchise Consultant Matt Bogart’s 20 years of franchise industry experience brings credibility, strong industry knowledge and hands-on experience to his role as a franchise consultant. Matt enjoys working with prospective candidates who are looking for objective, real-world tested advice and personal guidance as they evaluate the opportunities available in franchising today. Matt began his career in franchising “in the trenches” in 1992 with Play it Again Sports - learning all the ins and outs of successfully running a retail franchise - and set many unit level system-wide sales records. After the successful sale of the franchise, Matt spent 2 years working as the franchise development manager for the Master Franchise owner of Play it Again Sports in Australia. Matt returned to family in the U.S. in 1997 to work for Franchise Solutions, a leading service-provider to the franchise community. There, he helped pioneer a range of services and programs for franchise companies to improve in the areas of franchisee recruitment, franchisee satisfaction, and the franchise sales process. During this time Matt was frequently a featured speaker on these same topics at national and regional franchise conferences. In 2001, Matt began his first FranChoice career. After a successful 7 year run, he was offered the rare opportunity to build the sales and lead generation efforts for a highly respected internet property for franchising, Franchise.com, where he still maintains an active voice in the businesses operations. Matt is thankful for the opportunity to return to role of a franchise consultant with FranChoice, and the chance to help others achieve their goals of business ownership. He enjoys helping people determine what is important to them, and the task of finding a good match in the franchise industry.
