Linda Menter - Franchise Consultant
Linda began her career in the world of franchising right out of college. In working for International Dairy Queen as a trainer to open new stores and then as a District Manager, she formed the basis for a career spent working with businesses in every facet of their operation. After leaving Dairy Queen she spent the next 6 years in Business to Business sales, where she used a consultative, customer-service based approach to ensure the products and services she represented not only met the clients stated needs, but also contributed directly to enhancing the bottom line of their business.
She moved away from sales in order to assist in the creation of a new division for a local company, which specialized in advising Fortune 500 companies in the area of waste removal expense reduction. Her responsibilities included creating the organizational structure for the operational and client management sides of the business, as well as developing key performance indicators and negotiating deals with key vendors.
Linda left that organization to assist in starting a new division for another local company, this time specializing in business to business internet commerce. In addition to creating client implementation programs, performance metrics and operational procedures, she specialized in using her leadership skills to train and motivate employees at all levels. This combination of skills led to record high levels of performance and retention.
She left the corporate world to form her own consulting company, where for over 4 years she focused on working with start up companies to create and implement client retention and growth strategies, project plans and operational processes.
