Frank deLucia - Franchise Consultant

With more than twenty years of franchising executive experience, Frank de Lucia provides solid leadership, support and guidance to those interested in pursuing success through this arena.

Prior to becoming a FranChoice consultant, Mr. de Lucia’s responsibilities included franchise development, operations and marketing for several well-known companies.

Mr. de Lucia began his career as a consultant in the early 1980’s – guiding 90 Baskin-Robbins franchisees in their operations. His successes led to a position as the International Manager of Operations and Development where his duties included directing new store openings, developing and conducting operational training programs; and helping new franchisees implement marketing and sales plans. His responsibilities took him all over the world including Russia and Australia where he served as General Manager of Baskin-Robbins Australia Pty. Ltd. While in Australia, Mr. de Lucia was responsible for setting up the company, including: franchise recruitment, training, marketing and operational support for franchisees. Mr. de Lucia also oversaw product logistics and distribution.

In 1992 Mr. de Lucia became the Western Region Director for MotoPHOTO. Key responsibilities included assisting franchisees in the areas of marketing and sales. He directed a team of business consultants and area developers in the support of franchisees and in the expansion of the MotoPHOTO Brand.

In 1997 Mr. de Lucia became Vice President of Franchise Development for Sir Speedy. In this role he was responsible for awarding franchises, supervising regional franchise directors, creating and implementing programs to increase the number of franchises awarded and managing the activities of the in-house resale program.

Mr. de Lucia has been a member of a variety of professional organizations, including the World Affairs Council, the World Trade Council, and the International Franchise Association, many of which invited Mr. deLucia to serve as a guest speaker.
