Tana’s diverse business experience in corporate America includes companies specializing in defense intelligence contracting, mortgage lending, recruiting, and believe it or not, construction equipment rental! It was in the midst of her business analysis career in this last industry for a company called NationsRent based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where she was first introduced to franchising. She later joined Tutor Time Childcare Learning Centers in Boca Raton, FL with franchises nationwide, where she helped franchisee candidates navigate the franchise buying process, including education on all aspects of the franchise program. It was with her move to The Cleaning Authority based in Columbia, MD where she took on more of a franchise sales role. Tana worked with franchisee candidates by discussing their goals for business ownership, educated them on the concept and industry, provided market research, assisted in determining territory, and ultimately, helped them reach their dream of owning a franchise. Tana was an instrumental part in helping The Cleaning Authority grow from 55 franchises to 150 nationwide in just two years!
Tana is active in the International Franchise Association and is also an active volunteer in her community.
Today as an independent consultant with FranChoice, Tana helps prospective franchisees evaluate opportunities that will help them “Realize Their Dreams.” She is a graduate of Virginia Tech and now calls the Chesapeake / Virginia Beach, VA area home. Her healthy lifestyle includes fitness, outdoor sports, and reading. And most importantly, she understands the significance of balance, focus, and determination, and uses this to help YOU reach your goals in franchising.
