Rick Bisio

Rick Bisio has spent his career involved in all aspects of business. For the past decade, he has focused on building bridges between Franchisors and individuals interested in opening their own business. As a teacher and a matchmaker, Mr. Bisio feels that there is no greater reward than seeing a successful business created and knowing that he played an integral part in laying the foundation for that success. He takes great pride in his ability to recognize the unique interests, skills and abilities that each person brings to the table and working closely with people to find the perfect franchise match for them.

In 1994, AFC Enterprises hired Mr. Bisio to become a member of the new international department focused on building the Popeyes and Churches brands. Mr. Bisio’s role included identifying and qualifying candidates, establishing common ground and solidifying franchise relationships with individuals and corporations on a worldwide basis. During his time at AFC, Mr. Bisio was promoted from manager to regional director and then to international director. In 1998, AFC Enterprises acquired both the Cinnabon and Seattle’s Best Coffee brands. Mr. Bisio was involved with the franchising rollout and contributed to the tremendous growth these brands have seen over the past years. During Mr. Bisio’s tenure with AFC Enterprises, he successfully established new locations in over twenty countries.

Upon departing AFC, Mr. Bisio accepted a position with Environmental Biotech, Inc. as vice president of global development. During his time at EBI, Mr. Bisio was responsible for all aspects of the franchise relationship. He was also successful in establishing eight Corporate Service Centers through franchise buybacks. This win-win approach empowered corporate growth while improving franchise system consistency. During his time at EBI, he successfully opened the United Kingdom to EBI and introduced EBI to the Sysco ICare program, thereby accelerating growth throughout the EBI network along with establishing many new and successful business owners.

Today, Mr. Bisio uses his decade of experience in Franchising, his advanced education and his experience as an entrepreneur to help people realize their dream of independent business ownership. Mr. Bisio currently lives on Anna Maria Island in Florida with his wife Anne-Lise and his daughter Ella and can be reached at RBisio@FranChoice.com or by calling (941) 778 4660.
