Michael Condon

Michael Condon grew up in an entrepreneurial environment and never lost his passion for working with and helping the small business owner.  Establishing his career working in a variety of small businesses and taking the leap to launch a new, international division of his company from scratch has given Michael a unique perspective on what it takes to be a success both inside and outside of “Corporate America”.  Today Michael uses this experience to help would-be entrepreneurs decide if franchising is the right path for them to follow.

During the early stages of his career Michael received an instant education in business management and ownership as he became heavily involved in every aspect of his family’s business operations.  Focusing on everything from crafting the detailed business plan to managing a 24/7 production operation with over 45 employees, Michael quickly learned what it took to run a successful small business.  These experiences gave Michael a great appreciation for what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur, but also sparked his interest in other opportunities.

The next objective in Michael’s career plan was to spread his wings outside of the family business and find a ground floor opportunity where he could leverage his business start-up talents, while also fulfilling his interest in international business.  Finding such an opportunity wasn’t easy, so Michael decided to take a huge leap of faith and launched the first international operations office for Pentonian, Inc. in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Over the next 5 years Michael successfully drove Pentonian’s growth in both the Latin American and European markets securing relationships with many Fortune 500 companies including Motorola and T-Mobile.  This experience also afforded Michael the opportunity to spend time pursuing another of his passions, teaching, as he helped bridge the language gap for many individuals and businesses working in the Brazilian marketplace.

After a successful business launch in Brazil, Pentonian brought Michael back to the States to invigorate their domestic operations in the banking industry.  Despite a successful return and the rewards of working closely with Bank of America, Wells Fargo and HSBC, Michael missed the rush of working in an entrepreneurial environment and wanted to get back to his small business roots.  Joining FranChoice has allowed Michael to fulfill all of his passions as he now helps educate new entrepreneurs on the benefits and challenges of franchising while deciding if business ownership will help them fulfill their goals and objectives.

Michael lives in the Minneapolis area with his wife and is looking forward to helping you explore your business ownership opportunities.  He can be reached toll-free at 866.715.3487 or via email at mcondon@franchoice.com.
