Kurt Kempfer started his business career in large corporate America, but quickly realized that the fun and challenge seemed to lie within business ownership. As a result, Kurt operated two small, independent businesses for several years. After learning some interesting lessons and then selling those businesses, Kurt discovered franchising.
Now, with over 25 years of in-depth experience within the franchise industry, including owning and operating his own local franchise, Kurt Kempfer has a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with someone looking to start their own business. Starting as an Independent Regional Developer, Mr. Kempfer’s first franchise venture was with National AutoFinders, Inc. (NAF). Based upon his success in growing and supporting his region for NAF, Kurt was awarded the position of president and CEO. Since that time, and over the past 25+ years, Kurt has held key sales, franchise development and senior management positions with a number of leading U.S. franchise companies operating within a variety of industry segments. He has had significant participation in the growth of such franchise organizations as Grease Monkey International, Pak Mail, Uniglobe Travel, Speedy Auto Glass, NOVUS Windshield Repair, Adventures in Advertising, Qpoint Mortgage, Buyers Resource Realty, World Inspection Network, and National Home Buyers Assistance.
In addition, through his franchise consultancy company, Kempfer and Associates, Kurt has worked with a number of start-up or emerging franchise networks, as well as many potential franchise owners. As a result of owning and operating his own local franchise, Mr. Kempfer also knows first hand the nature of the business from the franchisee perspective. Kurt has been very active in franchise industry organizations on both the local and national levels, and because of his franchise industry experience, knowledge and participation, he is widely recognized as one of the leading experts in quality franchise ownership and growth in the United States. During his many years in franchising, Kurt’s main reward and satisfaction has come from helping literally hundreds of individuals and families achieve the dream of business ownership.
In his spare time, Kurt has completed 24 marathons, numerous triathlons, and has successfully completed an Ironman Triathlon.
