Having over ten years experience in franchising, Jim Judy boasts strong industry knowledge. Jim has been extremely successful with one of the nation’s largest franchisors and most recently was involved in all aspects of a start-up franchise.
Mr. Judy began his franchise career as a franchise sales director with Cendant Corporation, a New Jersey-based franchisor of numerous hotel brands, real estate, and rental cars. Jim assisted Cendant’s franchisees in growing their existing business in the southeast region through acquisitions and mergers, providing market analysis, site selection and ongoing operations support.
More recently, Mr. Judy served as vice president of franchise sales, assisting in the start-up of SmartHouse, Inc., a home automation company. He was responsible for the recruiting, hiring, and training of the franchise sales force. He also played a big part in the creation of their UFOC, marketing programs, and all other aspects of a start-up business. While still in the start-up phase, Jim grew the company by bringing on ten new franchisees in the first eight months of operation. With little in the way of marketing materials, Jim effectively communicated the advantages of being part of a franchise system, guiding these prospects through the franchise process.
