Jeff began his career in franchising in March of 1993 as a Franchise Sales Associate with The Athlete’s Foot. He was promoted on several occasions and left the company in January 2001 as the director of franchise development in charge of all franchise development for the America’s. During this time, he finalized single, multiple unit and area development franchise agreements accounting for over 220 new stores and $4 million dollars in franchise fees. His efforts led The Athlete’s Foot to be named the “Franchise of the Year” by Success Magazine in 1998.
Mr. Shafritz was recruited away from The Athlete’s Foot to lead the start-up Franchise Development efforts of Regus Business Centres. Although, Regus is the world’s leading provider of business centers with 400 centres in 50 countries throughout the world, they had yet to establish a franchise system. This gave Mr. Shafritz a unique opportunity to help develop a franchise program from the ground floor.
Today, Jeff Shafritz utilizes his extensive knowledge of the franchise industry as a FranChoice consultant, offering credible, objective advice to individuals pursuing a franchise business.
