Carla Hagen - Franchise Consultant Carla has experienced a great deal of success in the franchise industry. In the last 10 years, she has been the owner of two different franchise businesses with a total of six locations in multiple states. Due to her strong beliefs in franchising, she is confident that anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to succeed can reap the numerous rewards of owning a franchise business. Before joining the franchise industry, Carla worked for another exceptional Minnesota based company - Malt-O-Meal. She worked full-time in Quality Control for them for five years while completing a secondary degree in Human Resource Management and opening her first franchise. Carla’s advice and input on the franchise research process is something you won’t want to be without – she has experienced the many ups and downs associated with buying, building, managing and selling franchises first-hand. Carla helps her candidates find a franchise business based upon their personal interests, priorities, goals, skills and characteristics so that they can achieve their dreams through successful franchise ownership. Being a consultant for FranChoice is not only a career choice for Carla but also proves her passion for helping others. Today, Carla lives in Victoria, MN with her husband Mark and four children - Lukas, Alex, Liam and Adrianne - 3 cats - Luna, Miller and Husker - and 1 fish named “Big Dog.” In addition to being a consultant with FranChoice, Carla also maintains her MN Realtors license, and together with her husband they own rental property in several states.
